Exercise & Sports
Exercise is important and beneficial for both your physical and emotional health. You might have an interest in a specific sport and take part for enjoyment or want to find out more about what impact your condition has on your ability to exercise or take part in a sport.
Muscular Dystrophy UK has written a leaflet on exercise advice for people with a neuromuscular condition which you can find here.
You might find it helpful to talk to your team, including your physiotherapist about trying something new or any questions you have about exercise and sport. There are so many sports and activities that you can explore and find something that you really enjoy doing.
