Cystic fibrosis
We work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to offer Dietetic
Support as part of the specialist regional Cystic Fibrosis services
in the UK, covering Bath, Gloucester, Taunton and Bristol patients.
We work alongside specialist consultants, CF nurses, CF
Physiotherapists, Social worker, Psychologist and play specialists
to offer a multi layered approach to care for our patients. We aim
to meet the increased nutritional requirements in Cystic Fibrosis
to optimise health, growth and development. Dietetic care, advice
and support is offered to children, adolescents and families from
diagnosis through to the time of transfer to adult services at 18
years of age.
