UHBW clinical audits
Clinical audits aim to improve the quality of patient care. They
are a way of finding out whether the quality of our services meets
defined standards. These standards might be national guidelines
from organisations such as NICE (National Institute for Health and
Clinical Excellence) or the Royal Colleges
for the different healthcare professions, or they might be
contained in local Trust protocols.
If you think your project might be audit, contact stuart.metcalfe@uhbristol.nhs.uk
or call 0117 34 23614
Each Division in UH Bristol also has an audit
facilitator.
Audit projects need to be approved and registered on the Trust
audit programme. More information and guidance on conducting
clinical audits is available from the UHBW Clinical Audit
