Hearing appointments
These are the types of hearing appointments that we offer. You
can access further information about each appointment if you click
on the patient information sheets.
Please note that we do not offer walk-in repair
appointments. All appointments must be booked or you
can leave your hearing aid at our reception on our main sites to
collect at a later date.

For patients who have been referred for a hearing assessment by
their GP. This appointment is for an assessment of hearing levels
and individual needs. A full history will be taken and a hearing
test will be carried out. Further tests may also be carried out if
appropriate.

Repair appointment
For patients who require the repair or service of their hearing
aids (which have been provided by our department) or for
guidance/advice on managing hearing aids.
It is important that patients contact the Audiology
department at least every year to either arrange an appointment to
have the tubes on their hearing aids changed or to be posted some
tubes for patients to change themselves on their hearing
aids.

they will be fitted with hearing aids if appropriate.
Instructions will be given on how to use them.
