Living with App Information.
Patients who have been diagnosed with
Rheumatoid Arthritis or Axial Spondyloarthritis, may benefit from
the Living With Arthritis app. This can help you learn about your
condition and manage the effects it has on your life.
It has been developed with North Bristol NHS
Trust, and includes resources to support you with your physical,
emotional and practical needs, and signposts to local and national
resources.
It also currently provides information on
treatment options in these conditions, guidance on living well and
tools for managing fatigue.
If you are using the Living With Arthritis
app you will have access to the same healthcare as other patients
and will still be able to contact your clinical team in the usual
way. However, the information in the app might answer some of your
questions and mean that you need to call the nurse helpline or
contact your GP less often.
Ask for access to the Living With Arthritis
app from your clinician at your hospital appointment, or register
your interest via email to rheumpatientapp@uhbw.nhs.uk,
including your name, date of birth, and up-to-date contact details.
You will then be sent an invite to join.
