Conditions we treat

By following the above link you will find information on a list of mental health conditions, most of which are routinely referred to the Liaison Psychiatry Service and some self-help advice is included.

Over a thousand people attend the BRI A+E department every year following an episode of self-harm or attempted suicide. The Liaison Psychiatry Team will see most of these patients to offer help, talk through the issues and see what services would be best suited to help.

Treatments we offer

The Liaison Psychiatry Service can provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for referrals from specialists within the trust via the Liaison Psychiatry Outpatients Clinic. Information about treatment can be found on the following link http://www.patient.co.uk/doctor/Cognitive-and-Behavioural-Therapies.htm.
