About us

The Queen's Day Unit is a purpose built endoscopy and day surgery unit opened in 2006. You have entered the page for endoscopy; for surgical procedures within this unit please click here. Queen's Day Unit (A414) is located on level 4 within the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

The unit is fully accessible by both stairs and lift. Wide toilets with hand rails are available on the unit. For more information regarding parking and public transport to the hospital please follow this link. We have a coffee shop along with shops and a pharmacy located at the main entrance of the hospital.

We are proud to have received accreditation by the national endoscopy regulatory body (JAG). This means we are able to offer a bowel cancer screening programme and nationally recognised as providing a high quality of service. Our patient satisfaction surveys reflect the high level of care offered to our patients. The Trust also received an outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in March 2017.
