Ambulatory heart monitoring

Heart monitors (Holter tape/recorder) allow longer recording of the heart's electrical trace. Monitoring can extend from 24 hours to weeks (eg Novacor/King of Hearts/R-Test).

Monitors are attached to the chest using stickers attached to electrodes. Our clinical staff (cardiographers) will explain what you need to avoid while wearing the monitor.
