Day Case Cath labs

The daycase unit, situated on level 6 of the BHI, provides care for patients attending for a range of procedures and treatments, including:

Angiography
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) - stents
Electrophysiology (EP) study
Ablation
TOE
Pacemakers
Implantable loop recorder (ILR)
Implantable cardiac defibrillator (ICD)
Cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT)
Adult congenital heart disease (also known as GUCH)
admission for cardiac surgery
ajmaline provocation studies
