Ward C708
Ward C708 (was ward 52) is a fast paced 24 bedded cardiac
surgery ward. The ward is divided into a combination of four
four-bedded bays and eight single rooms. We might
meet you the night before your heart surgery, and we will look
after you during your recovery, following your short stay in the cardiac intensive care
unit.
The ward is a made up of a varied mix of staff who are
managed by the ward sister, Liz Leech. Liz is supported by her
senior staff nurses: Louise Bailes, Katy Hartley and Hannah Moore.
The team also includes trained nurses, assistant practitioners,
nursing assistants, a housekeeper and a ward clerk. All of these
team members help contribute to the care you receive, and are
supported by staff who provide cleaning services and the all
important meals.
