by risk factors that can be controlled, treated or modified.
Risk factors are conditions or habits that increase your risk of
developing a disease. There are lots of different risk factors
which increase your possibility of coronary heart disease. These
include; high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol,
smoking, increased alcohol intake, being overweight, an unhealthy
diet, being stressed and being inactive. Understanding your risk
factors can help you make small changes which will make a big
difference to your health and wellbeing.

Cardiac arrest education
A cardiac arrest is when the heart stops beating and cannot
circulate blood around the body and resuscitation is required.
During a cardiac arrest, the blood flow to your brain can be
limited and can cause some issues with cognition (thinking and
processing thoughts). The educational talks below are to help you
