Welcome

The Bristol Heart Institute (BHI) was opened in 2009, designed in partnership with patients, staff and the public and provides a dedicated service for people with heart conditions across Bristol and the South West. We are a research active unit, closely collaborating with local academic partners.

Our award winning building, located behind the Bristol Royal Infirmary, is landscaped into the leafy hillside facing Kingsdown and has been designed with the patient in mind.

The BHI is located in Zone C - please see a map for more information

If you require the services of an interpreter during a hospital visit, the Trust has a team of interpreters whose services we can call upon. Depending on the circumstances, staff may also use a telephone interpreting service as an alternative.
