Planned roadworks August 2024
Roadworks impacting St Michael's Hill are due to start on
Thursday 8 August 2024. Diversions will be signposted but please
allow for extra time when travelling to our city centre hospitals
for appointments.
The works by Bristol City Council are due to run until early
2025.

Personal Travel Plan

possible routes to our hospitals by car, bus, bicycle, train or on
foot.

Bristol Clean Air Zone
Our Bristol city centre hospitals are within the Clean Air
Zone. Find out what you need to know before

On-site parking at Bristol city centre hospital sites
Automatic Number Plate
recognition (ANPR) has been installed in most of our car parks,
which means that patients and visitors will be able to pay for
parking at the end of their visit to our hospitals. Pay
machines are located within the main reception areas of our
hospitals. The Montague Hill South car park is a pay on entry
car park.
The Trust
is also introducing a pay by phone offering, allowing even greater
flexibility. Patients and visitors can also pay via one of our pay
machines, that are equipped to accept cash, debit card chip and pin
or contactless, as well as contactless pay using
smartphones.
Our parking
charges apply 24 hours a day at all Trust sites.
Charges
from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday:
- 1 hour: £3.00
- 2 hours: £4.00

4 hours: £6.90

6 hours: £8.90
-
8 hours: £18.00
-
24 hours: £25.00
Overnight parking from 5pm to 7am, Monday to
Sunday: £3.00
Parents of a young child staying overnight (5pm to 7am) at Bristol
Royal Hospital for Children are entitled to free car parking. The
ward where your child is staying will need to contact the Trust's
Travel team. Please note that normal day time tariffs apply. If you
have any concerns about parking costs please contact the LIAISE
team on bchinfo@UHBW.nhs.uk or
call 0117 342 8065. Alternatively, please speak to a member of
staff on the ward.
For outpatients that attend hospital a minimum
of three times a month over a period no less than three
months, free car parking is available, please speak to
the outpatients department where you are a patient for
details.
If you are visiting a patient staying in one of our hospitals
(inpatient), a 7-day discounted parking ticket is available. Please
speak to the ward clerk for details.
If you are a Blue Badge holder, you will be able to park free of
charge in any of our parking spaces (apart from the drop-off
spaces) as long as your Blue Badge is
correctly displayed and you have scanned your blue badge
at a car parking machine.
Three pay to park locations in Bristol
remain. Users can pay on
foot or
via the

Most of
our Bristol city centre car
parking locations are pay on
exit. Users
can pay on foot or via the phone app Trust. Users have up to six days after
they park to pay. You can download Trust
via Apple App Store or Google Play.
On-site parking at Weston General Hospital
University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust has
introduced a new car parking tariff and process for patients and
visitors at Weston General Hospital.

NCP offer a wide range of prices for all customer and are open
24 hours a day, 7 days a week at various sites across Bristol city
centre.
