Travelling to our hospital
Hospital transport
Unfortunately hospital transport is not
provided in most cases but there may be voluntary services
operating in your area. Ask your GP surgery
for more information about this.
If you are eligible for hospital transport, your GP should
arrange this for your first appointment. It will then be
booked by the clinical team for follow-up appointments.
There is limited parking around St Michael's Hospital,
however there are five NCP car parks in the city
centre and additional parking can be found at
Cabot Circus. There is a free shuttle
bus service for patients and visitors that operates from
around the city centre to the hospital, including a stop at
Cabot Circus. More information about travelling to our
