Acceptance
Many people who are suffering with persistent pain find it very
hard to accept that there is no cure for the pain. The hardest part
of having persistent pain is to realise that life cannot go on
exactly as it would have done without the pain. However, people can
learn strategies which enable them to continue to live well,
alongside their pain.
These are some of the strategies which, used together, can help
to give better long term relief.
