The NHS in Bristol and Macmillan Cancer Support have joined forces to pilot a new service for local people with cancer to develop new ways of providing care and support for people during and following their cancer treatment. This will enable aftercare to be managed seamlessly between the hospital and the community.    Read More

University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (UH Bristol) will shortly be holding governor elections, with successful nominees joining the Council of Governors for a three-year term from June 2013. The winter vomiting bug norovirus is circulating in the community in Bristol. The virus is frequently brought into hospitals by visitors or patients and is easily spread by contact with people suffering diarrhoea and vomiting (D&V). There are three wards currently closed to new admissions due to D&V across the Bristol Royal Infirmary site.    Read More
