For safety reasons we do not take on Newly Qualified Nurses to our bank who do not have any previous experience. Although some training is offered, all applicants need to have a minimum of 6 months full time experience in a similar role.

For me, it is the work life balance you can get by being able to choose your own shifts.

You get quite a lot of support when you first join and throughout your time with the Trust.

5. What would you say to someone thinking about joining the bank?

To be sure about what you want. You can have the freedom to work whenever at a level you want to work at. It's a great way for you to get experience in different areas and departments of the hospital.
