Neuromuscular

Location

The neuromuscular service at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children sees patients from across the South West. You might come to the hospital for appointments or be seen in one of our outreach clinics, which take place in Gloucester, Taunton, Torbay, Exeter, Plymouth and Truro

When you move to adult services where you will be seen and by whom will change, we will discuss this with you nearer the time.

When you move to adult services you will meet differet people but in roles that you will be familiar with from the children's team. Appointments in the adult clinic will be structured differently and you will find questions about your health will be directed to you. Your neuromuscular advisor will explain these differences before you transition to adult services.
