The epilepsy service at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children sees patients from across the South West. You might come to the hospital for appointments or be seen in one of our outreach clinics that take place in Barnstable, Bath, Exeter Gloucester, Plymouth, Taunton Torbay, Truro and Yeovil.
Depending on how well your epilepsy is controlled when you get to the age of transition, there are few different ways this may be managed when you become an adult. For some people this can involve transfer to your GP, to adult neurology, or to adult learning disability teams.
If you have had surgery to manage your epilepsy you may also be transferred to the adult neurosurgery team.
You can find out contact details for the teams on the support tab above.
