What
We work
across a number of clinical specialities, including:
- Infectious Disease
- Conducted over 10 COVID-19 vaccine trials.
- Progressed on to delivering trials for vaccines in a variety of
disease areas including E-Coli, RSV, CMV, M-Pox, Pandemic Flu with
further studies in the pipeline.
- The team has a particular focus towards delivering early phase
research and is supported by NIHR Clinical Research Funding in
facilitating this.
The newly
established Vaccine and Testing team is currently delivering
COVID-19 vaccine research and surveillance and testing of community
acquired pneumonia including COVID-19. Its longer term remit
will include supporting vaccine trials in any indication where
the hospital setting is most suitable.
