What
We work across a number of clinical specialities,
including:
- Oncology
- Haematology
- Radiotherapy
- Currently manages over 250+ clinical trials or studies which
range from simple genetic sampling and observational studies
through to more complex chemotherapy and radiotherapy trials.
- In recent years the portfolio has expanded to include vaccines
and immunotherapies.
The Clinical Trials Unit is staffed by research nurses and
research radiographers who are supported by a team of
administrative staff all who have chosen to specialise in this
area. They work together with the hospital doctors to organise and
support the clinical research at Bristol Haematology and Oncology
Centre and to care for the patients who participate in cancer
