Confidentiality agreements and feasibility procedures

Confidentiality Agreements

We review confidentiality agreements within the Research & Innovation Department, drawing on expert advice from UHBW's legal team as required. We sign confidentiality agreements on an institutional level, between the sponsor (or sponsor's representative) and UHBW. Our Commercial Research Manager is authorised to sign such agreements on behalf of the Trust and our investigators. Some of our investigators are Clinical Academics at our partner Universities, but who hold honorary clinical contracts with the Trust. We therefore may share documents electronically using university email addresses, however any investigator with an honorary contract will be bound by the terms of confidentiality agreements we have signed.

Please send confidentiality agreements to our Commercial Research team for review and signature:

Feasibility Procedures

The Commercial Research Team in the Research & Innovation Department can help Sponsors and CROs identify suitable investigators to undertake commercial research at UHBW. We can put companies in touch with our relevant trials units and coordinate the completion of feasibility documentation, with a view to getting these returned to you in good time.

Representatives from R&I are keen to be involved in the feasibility process for potential new studies as early as possible in order to answer any queries from the Sponsor/CRO or our investigators to aid a smooth and speedy set-up.

We can also provide contact details for our relevant support departments such as Pharmacy and Labs.

Our Commercial Research Manager will attend study qualification visits and site selection visits where possible and can provide Sponsors/CROs with advice regarding local contract negotiation and approval processes. View more information regarding our contract and budget review processes.
