About us
The South Bristol Day Case and Endoscopy Unit is a purpose built
unit in the heart of the South Bristol community. Opened in 2012,
it provides a wide variety of endoscopic and day surgery
procedures. For more information regarding the day surgery here at
South Bristol please
We are fully accessible with two lifts and wide accessible
bathrooms in all patient areas and waiting rooms. There is
on-site (charged) parking, and free blue badge
parking a very short distance from the main entrance. Please
follow this link for more information on public transport to
the hospital. There is also a coffee shop on site open from
8:30-17:30 serving hot and cold food and drinks.
We are proud to have received accreditation by the national
endoscopy regulatory body (JAG). This means we are able to offer a
bowel cancer screening programme and are nationally recognised for
providing a high quality of service. Our patient satisfaction
survey results reflect the high level of care offered to our
patients. The Trust also received an outstanding rating from the
Care Quality Commission (CQC) in March 2017.
