Facilities
Where to eat
There is a Deli Marche cafe, incorporating Costa Coffee,
situated on the ground floor, by main reception which serves
snacks, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. This is open
Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and 10am to 3pm on weekends and
bank holidays. There are also alternative restaurants available a
short walk away in the Hengrove Leisure Park.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available from the main reception and we have
porters are also available to help visitors from the car park to
main entrance.
Public telephones/taxis
There is a public telephone in the main reception which also has
a freephone number for a local taxi company.
Post boxes
If you need letters/cards posted, we can arrange for the
purchase of a stamp and it can be sent via our local
transport.
Bedside services
There is a TV available free of charge in each side
room.
Cashiers office
The Cashiers office is open from 9.30am to 3.30pm,
Monday to Friday. We do not have any banking
facilities.
Public toilets
These are available on the ground floor, and a disabled toilet
is located on each floor.
Baby changing and feeding
There are baby changing rooms located on each floor.
Adult changing
There is an adult changing room available in the Outpatient
reception area.
Bereavement services/patient affairs
Our bereavement/patient affairs are located in the admin suite
on level 1. It is their role to:-
- To arrange for the completion of the medical certificate (which
must be collected by the next of kin at an agreed time)
- To be responsible for any personal effects and/or valuables to
be made available for collection by the next of kin
- To provide help and advice to families regarding registering a
death, funeral arrangements and any other related issues (including
how to obtain financial help with funeral costs etc)
