Speech and language therapy
Welcome to the UHBW adult speech and language therapy
service.
We provide treatment and support for adults with communication
and swallowing difficulties. We are based across several sites
including the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI), St Michael's Hospital
(STMH), and Weston General Hospital (WGH). We provide both
inpatient and outpatient services across sites.
All our teams work closely with and provide training for the
wider multidisciplinary team. We run bi-weekly
videofluoroscopy clinics at the BRI and a weekly videofluoroscopy
clinic at WGH. A fibreoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing
(FEES) service is available on all sites.
