Appearance Matters at UWE Bristol

The Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) hosts a conference series, called Appearance Matters, for health professionals and researchers. It focuses on the psychosocial issues around appearance and the provision of appropriate supportive care for people affected by appearance concerns of any sort, including those as a result of a burn injury.

The Centre for Appearance Research has its own podcast, 'Appearance Matters: The Podcast' - This podcast explores the world of appearance; presenting new insights and advances in research, as well as perspectives from researchers, clinicians, charities and organisations, and individuals affected by appearance-related concerns.
