Guy Atherton

Guy underwent medical training at Clare College, Cambridge & St Bartholomew's Hospital London. He underwent Surgical then Trauma & Orthopaedic training in Nottingham, Derby & Leicester. He spent a year on Fellowship in Children's Orthopaedics at the Starship Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand.

He was appointed as Consultant at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children in January 2004.

Professional Memberships: 

He is Chair of the British Society for Surgery in Cerebral Palsy & Chair of the South West & South Wales Ponseti User Group. He is on the National Clubfoot Consensus Group. He is an active member of the British Society of Children's Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an Examiner for the FRCS (Orth).
