Contact and Referral Information
Patients
If you are a patient or a parent of a patient under our care,
you can contact the department on 0117 342
9450.
Please leave a message with your and your child's
name, hospital number, contact number and the reason for your
query. The messages are retrieved regularly and directed to the
appropriate person.
The messages are dealt with Monday to Friday 9am to
5pm. We aim to respond by two working days.
If you/your child is acutely unwell and needs to be seen on the
same day, please contact your GP or attend the emergency department
in your local hospital.

To make a referral to our services, please send a referral

Electives/ Placements
If you are a medical student or overseas trainee looking for
opportunities to do an elective or placement in our department,
please send an email to
brhcgastrosecretaries@uhbw.nhs.uk , clearly
marking in the header of the email the nature of your
request.
