Refreshments

Brewnel's cafe is open from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

You can buy a range of light meals and snacks, including jacket potatoes, sandwiches and panini, hot and cold drinks and snacks. Brewnel's also sells a variety of healthy options.

There are a number of cafes and restaurants across all the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) hospital buildings. Please see the BRI pages of this site for opening hours.

Bristol Eye Hospital is located just a couple of minutes walking distance from the city centre, which has a wide range of eating facilities and options.

Smoking

Bristol Eye Hospital operates a no smoking policy throughout the building.

Sancturary (formerly the Chapel)

Visitors and patients have access to the Sancturary (formerly the Chapel) on level four of the old BRI building (King Edward building).

Telephones

There are payphones on the Ground Floor and on Gloucester Ward (third floor). Mobile phones are now permitted within most areas of the hospital but you should check with staff first.
