What do we do?

Who are we?

We are a specialist team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals who work alongside the team caring for you to offer specialist advice and input into your care.

The Supportive and Palliative Care Team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust liaises with other palliative care teams, including St Peters Hospice,  if appropriate.

What do we do?

The Supportive and Palliative Care Team offers specialist advice to the team looking after you.  We work alongside them to:

• Help with any symptoms you may have
• Help you to think about your future care and treatments
• Offer support to you and your family
• Act as a link between hospital and home.
