Introduction

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is proud to offer three Cancer Health and Wellbeing Sessions for patients and their supporters.

What is a Cancer Health and Wellbeing Session?

These are on-line presentations, containing information and support for all people with a diagnosis of cancer, and their families and carers.

We hope that these sessions will help you to feel more confident about what you can do to optimise your health and wellbeing at diagnosis and beyond, whether you are a patient, family member or carer.  Topics include advice on emotional wellbeing, ongoing management of healthcare needs and local facilities that support positive lifestyle changes.

Will I find the Cancer Health and Wellbeing Sessions helpful?

We know from feedback that those who view the sessions have found them very beneficial. Patients and family members have said that they like being able to view information in their own homes when they feel is the right time for them. The sessions are free and easy to access.

Quote from a patient in 2019

"Thank you for these films, they are really beneficial."

What are the sessions called?
