University Hospitals Bristol named by Newsweek as one of the best hospitals in the UK

University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trusthas been named by Newsweek, a US based news publication, as one of the best hospitals in the UK.

The list was compiled by Newsweek and Statista Inc., a global market research and consumer data company, and was published via the Newsweek website. To generate the list, they collated data from three main sources including:

  • Recommendations from medical experts
  • Results from patient surveys
  • Performance against key medical performance indicators.

The Trust, under the name of the Bristol Royal Infirmary, was ranked as the 11th best hospital in the UK.

Robert Woolley, chief executive officer of University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, said: "Our staff work extremely hard to provide the best care to all our patients. Being named as one of the best hospitals in the UK is a fantastic achievement and is testament to their hard work and the values they put into practice every day."
