UH Bristol opens its doors this Saturday for Bristol Doors Open Day 2014
This Saturday University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust
(UH Bristol) will be opening three parts of its hospital estate as
part of Bristol Doors Open Day 2014. The newly refurbished and
extended Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre and the Central
Health Clinic, home of Bristol Sexual Health Centre, will be open
for members of the public to explore. Pre-booked tours are also
available of two new wards currently under construction at the
Bristol Royal Infirmary.
Deborah Lee, Deputy Chief Executive of UH Bristol, says:
"Bristol Doors Open Day is a great opportunity to showcase our
hospital buildings to the people of Bristol and beyond. We're
delighted to be opening up three very different parts of our estate
and we hope that this provides an opportunity for the public to
find out more about the variety of services we deliver here. Many
of our highly skilled staff have volunteered to show the public
round behind-the-scenes and talk about their roles in delivering
these services."
