Bristol Children's Hospital
A special delivery of 100 Mog books to the Bristol Royal
Hospital for Children has been made by a Sainsbury's store at
Portishead.
Copies of the books, Mog's Christmas Calamity, were donated and
delivered to the Play Department at the hospital, for staff to give
to the patients.
Paul Morrison, store Manager at Sainsbury's Portishead, said:
"We are delighted to be giving these books to the Bristol
Children's Hospital. All profits from the sale of these books has
gone to the charity Save the Children to improve child literacy,
and we hope that the young patients at the hospital will enjoy
Mog's story".
Lynne Barlow, play services manager at Bristol Children's
Hospitals, said: "It will be lovely to give the children one of
these special books, it will really brighten up their day. Reading,
or being read to, is a great distraction for children who are
feeling unwell and a new book is a nice treat."
