Please consider alternatives as A&E at the children’s hospital is under pressure

The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is asking parents to carefully consider whether their children are in need of hospital treatment before bringing them to Accident & Emergency at the children's hospital. Parents can download the free HANDi App that aims to provide advice and support when your child is unwell. It offers simple and straightforward advice on what to do and who to contact, including illness-specific home assessment guidelines for common childhood illnesses. Go to www.bristolccg.nhs.uk and search for the HANDi App and the links to download it. Advice on choosing the most appropriate place to receive care is available on the same website.
