Not one but two award-winning Trust teams at the British Medical Journal awards
The team behind the Poor Prognosis Letter, led by Colette
Reid, consultant in palliative medicine, won the palliative and
hospice team of the year award at the British Medical Journal
awards last week. This award was for an innovative project that has
measurable improved palliative care for patients of their
carers.
Our High Impact User Group led by Becky Thorpe, consultant
in emergency medicine, won the prevention team of the year award at
the British Medical Journal awards last week. This award recognises
teams who work shows the benefits of early detection from birth
though to old age.
