New parking system at Marlborough Hill Car Park from Monday 15 July 2019

Marlborough Hill Car Park in Bristol is to become a pay and display car park from Monday 15 July 2019.

The car park, run by University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and available for patients and visitors to use, was previously a pay on exit car park.

The new parking system will give users the option to pay by phone at the car park, as well as by cash.

There will be no change to the current parking charge rates when the new system is switched on.

Stewart Cundy, operations manager for support services at UH Bristol, said: "This will provide another payment option for people using the car park.

"It will also mean that, if they need to, people will be able to extend their parking stay by phone, taking away the stress of having to leave the hospital department that they are visiting."
