Doctors hailed as leading paediatric specialists
Five of the Trust's paediatric experts have been honoured in a
list of 'Britain's Top 100 Children's Doctors' published by The
Times. The doctors have been credited for their outstanding
skills and contribution in the fields of cardiac surgery; neonatal
medicine; oncology; rheumatology and chronic pain; and
orthopaedics, alongside their counterparts based at other national
paediatric centres.
The five doctors included in the list are:
Mr Andrew Parry - consultant congenital cardiac surgeon at
Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC)
Professor Marianne Thoresen - consultant neonatologist at St
Michael's Hospital
Dr Jacqueline Cornish - director of paediatric stem-cell
transplantation BRHC
Mr Fergal Monsell - consultant paediatric orthopaedic surgeon
BRHC
Dr Jacqui Clinch - consultant paediatric rheumatologist
BRHC
This is the third issue of The Times Top Doctors. This year, the
focus is on the specialists who treat Britain's children. The list
is not exhaustive, but is a glimpse of the pioneering doctors and
surgeons who are transforming children's lives.
