MEMO (Medical Equipment Management Organisation) offer a full in-house planning and design service in order to meet your exact needs.  Our attention to detail in the early stages of your project, enable the team to ensure that our proposal will meet your exact requirements for system specification, budget and timeframe.

The in-house CAD team can supply a full HTM 02-01, C11 design drawings and specification as a standalone service or as part of a complete turn-key installation. 

Technical advice and consultancy is also a key part of the MEMO offer with over 25 years experience of working with NHS and Private Hospitals throughout the South West of England and Wales.  MEMO are recognised as experts in the field of Medical Gases and Medical Production Engineering.

All work is carried out in accordance with HTM 02-01, BSI 9001 and ISO EN 13485 and in compliance with the pressure systems Safety Regulations and all relevant British, European and International Standards.

We can also provide customers with Project Management services. 

Medical engineering design and development 

In addition to the complete Medical Gas service, MEMO has a dedicated medical engineering workshop where we provide Medical Engineering services to University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, NHS hospitals and laboratories, private healthcare providers throughout the South West and medical device manufacturers. We manufacture to the highest standards using the latest computer numerically controlled machinery (CNC), and utilising computer-aided drafting and manufacturing systems.

Our highly qualified and experienced engineers provide wide-ranging expertise in most aspects of medical device technology. The continuous development of our staff in technical and materials advancements ensures the needs of our customers are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The comprehensive manufacturing facility is fully equipped with computerised design systems and machine tools. The facility is available to produce medical devices and equipment that is not generally available commercially.

Equipment manufactured ranges from simple surgical instruments to a complex ultrasound-scanning device.

All manufacturing is carried out to comply with our ISO 13485 quality systems. Full CE marking of products is available where required including technical construction files.

We are specialists in the design and development of complete radiotherapy treatment fixation systems for the secure immobilisation of patients.
