Organisation Clinical Engineering (MEMO) is the trading arm of
University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust's Division of
Diagnostic and Therapy and Medical Physics and Bio-engineering
Department.
MEMO Clinical Engineering operates as a commercial
organisation supplying services to a variety of public and private
sector healthcare organisations.
As a trading operation MEMO Clinical Engineering has
freedom to act in order to serve its customers to the highest
standard.
Like all other departments in UH Bristol, MEMO Clinical
Engineering is controlled by its standing financial
instructions and clinical governance arrangements.
However the management of MEMO Clinical
Engineering have sufficient delegated authority and
status to ensure that service commitments are delivered to
organisations outside of the Trust without prejudice to agreed
standards of delivery.
