Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

We provide routine MRI scientific support and safety advice to clinical MRI services across 15 MRI scanners in the region. Our services include:

  • Assistance with site planning and design/equipment specification
  • Acceptance testing
  • Routine/Specialist QA
  • Support for clinical teams
    • Troubleshooting of image artefacts and poorperformance
    • Optimisation of imaging protocols 
    • Quality improvement 
  • MR Safety Expert Advice

    • Safe scanning of patients with implanted medical devices
