I trained at Cambridge University.  I have Specialised in Paediatric Surgery completing my training in the London and South-east Paediatric Surgical Training Consortium including a year at Great Ormond Street Hospital and 3 years research at Institute of Child Health, London. I also spent 15 months as a Minimally-invasive Paediatric Surgical Fellow at Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh.

I was appointed a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Bristol Children's Hospital in 2008. My special interests include Minimally invasive Paediatric Surgery, Paediatric Oncological Surgery and Neonatal Surgery
