I have been a Consultant at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children
since 2015.
I qualified from the University of Nottingham and undertook my
paediatric training in London, Birmingham and the East
Midlands.
Between my general paediatric training and subspecialty training
I undertook a PhD at the Institute of Child Health, University
College London investigating innate immunity and infection risk in
children with cancer
My subspecialty training in Haematology, Oncology and Bone
Marrow Transplant was in Bristol
Prior to completion of my training I became an Academic Clinical
Lecturer at the University of Bristol and undertook a programme of
work investigating early cancer diagnosis in children and young
people
My academic interests include early cancer diagnosis, teenage
and young adult cancer care and survivorship. I am a member of the
National Cancer Research Institute's Teenage, Young Adult and Germ
Cell Clinical Studies Group
