Professional profile/background:

I have been a consultant paediatric haematologist in Bristol
since 2010, having trained in Cambridge and London.
My current clinical practice is predominantly in bleeding
disorders and thrombosis. I sit on the UKHCDO Paediatric Working
Party.
I have an interest in leukaemia in Down syndrome having
completed a PhD in this subject at Imperial College, London and
subsequently serving as the national lead for Down syndrome myeloid
leukaemias. I was the chair of the writing group for the 2018 BSH
Guideline on Transient Leukaemia of Down Syndrome.
