18 April 2013
TEDMEDLive Bristol
This
Thursday (18 April), Bristol Health Partners will be hosting
TEDMEDLive Bristol at the MShed in Bristol, the first event of its
kind in the UK.
TEDMEDLive Bristol will bring together some of Bristol's leading
thinkers, researchers and innovators and will be the official
launch of Bristol Health Partners. The event aims to inspire and
provoke, to share ideas and find ways to transform the
understanding of, and approach to, key health problems in
Bristol.
UH Bristol is a partner in Bristol Health Partners along with the
two universities in Bristol, Bristol City Council, North Bristol
NHS Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership and primary
care. Trust staff are playing a key role in TEDMEDLive Bristol and
continue to actively support the work of Bristol Health
Partners.
This event will coincide with TEDMED 2013, where thought leaders
from all areas of society will come together in Washington DC to
celebrate innovation, imagination, and inspiration and their
passion for a better future in health and medicine.
The Bristol event will be streamed live online
