An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated person
to join the team at the Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit at South
Bristol Community Hospital.
We are seeking a qualified professional with an interest in day
surgery. Experience in endoscopy, recovery and or theatre is
preferred. As a key member of the team you must deliver high
standards of care, and have the skills necessary to support the
multiprofessional team throughout the patient pathways. Excellent
communication skills are essential for the admission and discharge
process.
RN (NMC registered) / or NVQ 3 Operating Department Practice pre
2004 or Diploma in Higher Education Operating Department Practice
post 2004 required.
South Bristol Community Hospital is part of University Hospitals
Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital has been open for 3 and
half years, and offers a variety of services to the local
community.
The hospital is on a fantastic site with local facilities
available including a leisure centre and in close proximity
Hengrove Leisure Park. The site has parking facilities available at
hourly rates and the hospital is on public transport routes.
