Improving awareness and outcomes of children’s injuries
The Child Injury Prevention and Injury Care Health
Integration Team (CIPIC HIT) are holding a conference on their
work to improve awareness and outcomes of children and families
experiencing injury, on 4 September.
This free event is for practitioners, professionals
and the public, and takes place from 9.30am until 4.30pm at the
Watershed, Bristol. Speakers include CIPIC HIT Director Julie
Mytton, Bristol Health Partners Director David Relph, Chief
Operating Officer of University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation
Trust James Rimmer talking about the centralisation of paediatric
services, CIPIC HIT topic leads Amber Young (burns and scalds),
Fergall Monsell (fractures), Mark Lyttle (head injuries) and Giles
Hawthornethwaite (major trauma) updating on their areas of
