Healthy City Week

This week is Healthy City Week (15-22 Oct)

On Friday 21 Oct we are holding some events as part of this campaign.

Visit the BHI atrium for exhibitions, free talks and workshops to enthuse public, patients and staff on being green and healthy. See the poster here and register for free here.

We'll share what we are doing to reduce our environmental impact, and raise awareness on the links between our environment, sustainability, health and wellbeing.

The West of England NHS Genomic Medicine Centre (WEGMC) is running a seminar on Friday, 21 October from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Bristol Heart Institute Seminar Room.

Dr Andrew Mumford, clinical director of the WEGMC will be providing an introduction to the project, an update on the GMC's progress and how clinicians and patients can get involved. There will also be a Q&A session following the presentation.

Register for free here. For more information, please contact Sabrina Lee, WEGMC communications lead on sabrina.lee@uhbristol.nhs.uk
