Health Matters - Scientists in the NHS
Healthcare scientists in the NHS are involved in over 80% of all
diagnoses in the NHS - but what do they actually do?
As part of Healthcare Science Week 2020, you'll hear stories from
individuals working in the fields of life sciences, physiological
sciences, physical sciences and clinical engineering, and
bioinformatics, told through the devices and machines they use,
from a spirometer to a linear accelerator.
Along the way you'll hear updates on some of the new technologies
and innovations which help our healthcare scientist continue to
deliver the highest quality patient care. There will be the
opportunity to ask your questions about their work. To book your
free place please visit this link or call the membership office on 0117
