Health Matters - Faith in Healthcare
It is widely recognised that faith is a powerful force in the
lives of many individuals and communities. At this event we will
explore the importance of understanding faith in the context of
care in our hospitals and consider how this contribution might be
developed to improve health outcomes.
Hear from several guest speakers from different faiths and
discuss with us how we can best understand the religious and
cultural needs of the patients, carers and families who use our
hospitals.
This event will take place on Tuesday 19 November from 4-5.30pm
in Lecture Theatre 1, Education and Research Centre, Upper Maudlin
